[Cellular relations during odontogenesis].

Journal de biologie buccale, 1977
Epithelial-mesenchyme interactions during mouse molar tooth morphogenesis were observed by electron microscopy. The basal lamina was intact from day 10 to day 18. Aperiodic, later also periodic fibrils were deposited on the basal lamina. Ectomesenchymal cell processes were always in close relation with the basal lamina or with the fibrillar material ...

Microcomputed Tomography Imaging in Odontogenesis Studies

2019
3D analysis of animal or human whole teeth and alveolar bone can be performed with high sensitivity in a nondestructive manner by microcomputed tomography. Here we describe the protocols to be followed for the most common applications in the developmental studies of dental and craniofacial tissues.

[Current concepts of odontogenesis].

Practica odontologica, 1991
Tooth growth and development involve complex biochemical and physiological processes. Some vitamins are required as coenzymes, but these molecules are also needed to synthesize specific proteins with structural or transport functions. Collagen synthesis is carried out by ascorbic acid interaction. Vitamin A induces calbindin synthesis.
