Rigid Fluorescent Indacenetetraone‐Based Semiconducting Polymers via Knoevenagel Condensation
New donor–acceptor polymers prepared by Knoevenagel condensation of indacenedithiophene‐ and indacenedifuran‐based aldehydes reveal an exceptionally rigid backbone, which is manifested in the remarkably narrow absorption and emission bands in red to near‐infrared region.

Programmable Liquid Crystal Elastomers Via Magnetic Field Assisted Oligomerization
This article presents a straightforward method for designing programmable liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) actuators using magnetic field alignment. It combines thio‐Michael polyaddition for efficient LCE synthesis with a strategy that preserves the nematic phase, enabling the alignment of high molecular weight LCOs.

A novel polymer electrolyte membrane with a hyperbranched interpenetrating hydrogen bond network structure is developed. The unique structure of the hyperbranched polymer contributes to a high glass transition temperature exceeding 400 °C, enabling its operation at elevated temperatures for fuel cell applications.

We consider the problem of olfactory searches in a turbulent environment. We focus on agents that respond solely to odor stimuli, with no access to spatial perception nor prior information about the odor. We ask whether navigation to a target can be learned robustly within a sequential decision making framework.
