Comparative Analysis of Seakeeping of Offshore Photovoltaic Floating Unit
Modern Subsea Engineering and Technology, 2023Background: In recent years, offshore photovoltaic (PV) power systems have become an emerging hot issue. For offshore PV, the marine environmental loads are more complex, especially wave loads will put higher demands on the mooring system, and a failure of the mooring system will cause great harm.

Automated design for boosting offshore Photovoltaic (PV) performance
IEEE PES T&D 2010, 2010This paper presents a novel automatic cleaning device used to enhance the output power of PV modules especially for offshore applications where efficiency and reliability are critical issues. The design described has also the capability of repelling birds from approaching near the PV systems, nesting and therefore preventing bird droppings.
