Sit‐and‐Wait for the Agoutis: Dung Beetle Phoresy on Dasyprocta azarae in a Tropical Forest

open access: yesBiotropica, Volume 58, Issue 6, November 2026.
ABSTRACT We document the first case of phoresy by dung beetles with a rodent, involving Canthon (Goniocanthon) smaragdulus subviridis and agoutis (Dasyprocta azarae). Camera traps set in a tropical forest recorded 21 phoretic events, with agoutis carrying 1–6 beetles each. This behavior likely enhances how beetles locate fresh dung.

“It's Not Deterministic and It Will Never Be Deterministic”: A Qualitative Study on Stakeholder Perspectives of Polygenic Risk Score Testing for Post‐Traumatic Stress Disorder

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Medical Genetics Part B: Neuropsychiatric Genetics, Volume 201, Issue 7, Page 441-450, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) causes significant mental and physical distress, yet only a small subset of individuals exposed to trauma develop the disorder. Scientists and clinicians are still unable to predict who will get the disorder or how it will manifest.

Analytical Modeling of Hot Ion Interchange Injections in Saturn's Magnetosphere

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 9, September 2026.
Abstract Cassini's CHarge Energy Mass Spectrometer (CHEMS) instrument collected energetic plasma data from 2004 to 2017, including hundreds of observations of small‐scale nearly dispersionless “local” injection events into the inner magnetosphere. This study assesses whether these interchange‐like injections are a channel‐like structure still connected

Transporter-Mediated Mitochondrial GSH Depletion Leading to Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Rescue with αB Crystallin Peptide in RPE Cells

open access: yesAntioxidants, 2020
Mitochondrial glutathione (mGSH) is critical for cell survival. We recently reported the localization of OGC (SLC25A11) and DIC (SLC25A10) in hRPE. Herein, we investigated the suppression of OGC and DIC and the effect of αB crystallin chaperone peptide ...

Improving Digital Transformation Outcomes and Pace: The Role of the Board and C‐Suite in Reducing Transformation Friction

open access: yesInformation Systems Journal, Volume 36, Issue 5, Page 652-660, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Most organisations are confronting a dilemma: the need to embark on digital transformation to be competitive and sustainable versus the inherently high costs and extremely high risks involved. Lack of executive support has long been identified as a leading cause of project failure, including digital transformation projects.
