Oxidative Stability of Rapeseed oil based Lubricants
Rapeseed oil is a promising renewable alternative to mineral-based lubricants due to its excellent lubricating properties, biodegradability, and low toxicity. However, its high content of unsaturated fatty acids makes it particularly vulnerable to oxidative degradation, limiting its application in high-temperature and long-term operations.
