Study on deposit formation model in sulfide-containing natural gas environment

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology, 2022
The breathing pipe of a produced water storage tank in a sulfide-containing natural gas station is prone to deposit formation, which leads to pipeline blockage. In this study, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS),

Study of Chelating Agent—Surfactant Interactions on the Interphase as Possibly Useful for the Well Stimulation

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Chelating agents’ application for EOR and well stimulation is fast growing nowadays. However, reagents of this class have some drawbacks, with high values of interfacial tension (IFT) being among them. IFT may be lowered with the addition of surfactants;

A new approach to improving efficiency of gas-lift wells in the conditions of the formation of organic wax deposits in the Dragon field

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology, 2020
Gas-lift is one of the artificial methods in which gas is injected down the production casing–tubing annulus and enters the production tubing through a number of gas-lift valves. During the production of a gas-lift well, the injected compressed gas might

Decoupling Light Absorption From Photocatalytic Reactivity in TiO2 via Defect and Interfacial Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid photoprotective material integrates N‐doped TiO2 with a metal‐phenolic network (MPN) to achieve broad‐spectrum attenuation and robust reactive oxygen species (ROS) suppression. Nitrogen doping extends attenuation into the UVA/high energy visible light (HEV) regions and facilitates fast charge recombination to inhibit ROS formation.

PHASE BEHAVIOR OF GAS-CONDENSATE FLUIDS DURING WELL TESTING

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Нефть и газ, 2015
Hydrodynamic studies in gas-condensate wells allow determining the features of fluids flow in the gas condensate reservoir by build-up curves. A variation in the shape of the build-up curve may reflect a behavior of fluids in the reservoir, that is the ...
