Advanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.Direct, catalyst‐free CVD growth produces thickness‐controlled hBN films on SiO2/Si without transfer. Growth temperature, film thickness, and carbon incorporation tune the density and single‐photon fraction of defect emitters while preserving the hBN lattice structure.
