The spatial pattern of Enchytraeidae (Oligochaeta)
Oecologia, 1985Spatial pattern of enchytraeids (Oligochaeta: Enchytraeidae) was studied in an experimental plot in an apple orchard near Bavorov, South Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. A total of 450 soil cores were taken in 1982, all individuals were determined (juveniles to genus, mature individuals to species) and counted. In total, 17 species of 4 genera were found. Both

In Yugoslavia Oligochaeta have been relatively inadequately reseached, especially the Enchytraeidae family, and that was the main motive for making this catalogue. The classification of higher taxonomic units (till families), which representatives can be found in Yugoslavia, has been made on the basis of the system made by Jamieson (1978).

Oligochaeta (Annelida, Oligochaeta) in the Curonian Lagoon of the Baltic Sea
Inland Water Biology, 2015The species composition of Oligochaeta (Annelida) has been studied in the Russian part of the Curonian Lagoon. In the contact zone and in the open waters, 40 out of 42 species known to inhabit the Lagoon are detected. Gen. Nais is the most abundant in resident species, being represented by ten different species.

Assimilation by Aquatic Oligochaeta
Internationale Revue der gesamten Hydrobiologie und Hydrographie, 1979AbstractAquatic oligochaetes selectively ingest material from sediments given as food. Determinations of the quantity of organic material presented, left in the residue, and voided as feces enabled estimation of assimilation. These figures were not significantly different from those obtained by summing growth as observed in the experiment with ...

ON THE PHYLOGENY AND HIGHER CLASSIFICATION OF THE OLIGOCHAETA
Cladistics, 1988Abstract— The 50 oligochaete taxa representing all families of “opisthoporous” oligochaetes (Aliuroididae, earthworms and aquatic “megadriles”) together with two representatives of the Haplotaxidac and three examples of “microdiles” were subjected to cladistic analysis using the PAUP program.

In the gill cavity of Astacus leptodactylus leptodactylus from the water bodies of the Dnieper and Southern Bug basins Oligochaeta are found which are referred to the new species of the family Aeolosomalidae - Aeolosoma markewitschii sp. n. They affect A. I. leptodactylus most often in the Kakhovka reservoir (91.7%) in 1974.
