Dissection and design of yeast prions. [PDF]
Many proteins can misfold into beta-sheet-rich, self-seeding polymers (amyloids). Prions are exceptional among such aggregates in that they are also infectious.

Synthesis and Characterization of Polyolefin-graft-oligopeptide Polyelectrolytes
Novel polyelectrolytes consisting of hydrophobic polyolefin backbones and charged oligopeptide grafts have been synthesized and characterized. Oligopeptide-containing monomers were prepared by solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) and then polymerized by ...

A novel oligopeptide simulating dentine matrix protein 1 for biomimetic mineralization of dentine [PDF]
Objective The objectives were to design and fabricate an oligopeptide that simulates dentine matrix protein 1 (DMP1) to study its ability to bind to dentine collagen fibrils and induce biomimetic mineralization for the management of dentine ...

Chemotaxis to oligopeptides by Pseudomonas aeruginosa [PDF]
A number of peptides were evaluated as chemoattractants for Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Several strains recognized tri-, tetra-, penta-, and hexapeptides in a capillary tube assay. Tripeptides altered at the carboxyl terminus were good attractants, whereas tripeptides altered at the amino terminus did not serve as chemoattractants.

Solvent-Induced Supramolecular Assembly of a Peptide-Tetrathiophene-Peptide Conjugate
The assembly of a peptide-tetrathiophene-peptide (PTP) conjugate has been investigated in mixed solvents, which has different polarities by changing the solvent proportions.
