Salivary IgA and IgG in oral lichen planus and oral lichenoid reactions diseases

open access: yesAdvanced Biomedical Research, 2012
Background: The objective of this study was to assess the level of salivary IgA and IgG in oral lichen planus (OLP) and oral lichenoid reactions (OLR) patients as diagnostic factors to the differential diagnosis of OLP, OLR diseases.

Outgoing Longwave Radiation over Iraq using Atmospheric Infrared Sounder [PDF]

open access: yesIranica Journal of Energy and Environment, 2017
The present paper involves Outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) under clear-sky condition modeling employing three measured meteorological parameters (Air surface temperature, Relative humidity and Cloud fraction).

Relation Between OLR and Precipitation in The World

open access: yesJournal of Japan Society of Hydrology and Water Resources, 1993
Global 2.5°mesh daily OLR (Outgoing Longwave Radiation) data observed by NOAA from 1974-87 were analyzed and compared with precipitation data at various stations over the world. Global OLR distributions clearly show seasonal climatic variations and the characteristics of El-Nino and La-Nina.

The Variations of Outgoing Longwave Radiation in East Asia and Its Influencing Factors

open access: yesAtmosphere, 2023
Outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) data are one of the key factors in studying the radiation balance of the earth–atmosphere system in East Asia. It is of great significance to explore the influence factors on OLR.

Laparoscopic liver resection is associated with less significant muscle loss than the conventional open approach

open access: yesWorld Journal of Surgical Oncology, 2022
Background Laparoscopic liver resections (LLR) have been shown a treatment approach comparable to open liver resections (OLR) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the influence of procedural type on body composition has not been investigated.

Definition and predictability of an OLR‐based West African monsoon onset [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Climatology, 2008
AbstractThe monsoon onset is documented in terms of latitudinal shift of deep convection areas within the ITCZ using an interpolated version of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Outgoing Longwave Radiation (OLR) at a 5‐day time‐step over West Africa for the period 1979–2004.

Digestion Performance and Microbial Metabolic Mechanism in Thermophilic and Mesophilic Anaerobic Digesters Exposed to Elevated Loadings of Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
Mesophilic and thermophilic anaerobic digestion reactors (MR and TR) for the organic fraction of municipal solid waste (OFMSW) were tested to reveal the differential microbial responses to increasing organic loading rate (OLR).

Generation of global 1-km daily top-of-atmosphere outgoing longwave radiation product from 2000 to 2021 using machine learning

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2023
Top-of-atmosphere (TOA) outgoing longwave radiation (OLR), a key component of the Earth’s energy budget, serves as a diagnostic of the Earth’s climate system response to incoming solar radiation.

Characteristics of Biogas Production Activity and Microbial Community during Sub-Moderate Temperature Anaerobic Digestion of Wastewater

open access: yesFermentation, 2023
Sub-moderate temperature (ranging from low to moderate temperature) anaerobic digestion (AD) could balance fermentation efficiency and energy input. We investigated biogas production and the microbial community in wastewater AD at sub-moderate (15 °C, 20

Mesoscale convection system and occurrence of extreme low tropopause temperatures: observations over Asian summer monsoon region [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2010
The present study examines the process of how tropospheric air enters the stratosphere, particularly in association with tropical mesoscale convective systems (TMCS) which are considered to be one of the causative mechanisms for the observation of ...
