Effect of the microbiome on pathogen susceptibility across four Drosophilidae species
Insect Science, EarlyView.Four Drosophilidae species were used to investigate how variation in the host microbiome influences susceptibility to infection. Microbial composition and abundance differed among species and treatments. The effects of microbiome manipulation on host survival were both species‐ and pathogen‐specific.

Animal Conservation, EarlyView.Long‐term monitoring has revealed hybridisation attempts between the Critically Endangered Kuaka Whenua Hou (KWH, Pelecanoides whenuahouensis) and the abundant Kuaka (P. urinatrix). Here we use modelling based on population monitoring data in tandem with genomic data to investigate these attempts and the risk they pose to KWH recovery.

Immunohistochemistry as a tool for identifying EGFR amplification in CNS tumors
Brain Pathology, EarlyView.EGFR gene amplification constitutes a diagnostic hallmark for glioblastoma, IDH‐wildtype (GB, IDH‐WT). Herein, we demonstrated that EGFR IHC is a highly specific and sensitive biomarker for identifying EGFR amplification and should be part of the neuropathologist's routine panel of antibodies.
