The Dual Role of the Gut Microbiota in Cancer Chemoresistance
Comparison between Microbiota and Cancer therapy. ABSTRACT Chemoresistance is one of the primary reasons that cancer chemotherapy fails to deliver successful treatment outcomes and contributes to poor overall survival rates for patients with cancer. New research has begun to shed light on the effects of the gut microbiome (GM).

Online Context-Free Recognition in OMv Time.
One of the classical algorithmic problems in formal languages is the context-free recognition problem: for a given context-free grammar and a length-n string, check if the string belongs to the language described by the grammar. Already in 1975, Valiant showed that this can be solved in {O}̃(n^ω) time, where ω is the matrix multiplication exponent ...

Decoding Akkermansia muciniphila Effector Biology: From Microbial Molecules to Host Outcomes
Schematic overview of the proposed gut–brain axis mechanisms linking Akkermansia muciniphila to host outcomes. A. muciniphila‐derived signals, including SCFAs and P9/GLP‐1‐related endocrine pathways, may influence epithelial barrier integrity, inflammatory responses, systemic immune signaling, and neural communication through the enteric nervous system,

Engineered Bacterial Membranes as Next‐Generation Platforms for Cancer Immunotherapy
Engineered bacterial membrane platforms, including outer membrane vesicles, bacterial ghosts, genetically engineered membranes, and hybrid bacterial–tumor membranes, integrate tumor antigen presentation with intrinsic immune stimulation. These platforms promote dendritic‐cell activation, T‐cell priming, pyroptosis, and synergistic responses with ...

LexOMV: an OMV extension to capture multilinguality
In this paper we aim at proposing metadata for expressing information about multilingual data in ontologies. Nowadays, and thanks to ontology metadata standards as the Ontology Metadata Vocabulary (OMV), ontology developers can have an effective access to all available ontological resources in the web.

Pg releases OMVs which contain Pg genomic DNA. The Pg OMVs‐associated DNA is incorporated into astrocytes via endocytosis and increases IL‐6 mRNA expression via TLR9. These effects of Pg OMVs may induce neuroinflammation, which could contribute to the onset and progression of AD in periodontal disease.
