Trends in Medicinal Uses of Edible Wild Vertebrates in Brazil
The use of food medicines is a widespread practice worldwide. In Brazil, such use is often associated with wild animals, mostly focusing on vertebrate species. Here we assessed taxonomic and ecological trends in traditional uses of wild edible vertebrates in the country, through an extensive ethnobiological database analysis. Our results showed that at

Among 90 E. coli isolates from 70 mammals, significant resistance was found to ampicillin (52.22%), ceftriaxone (42.22%) and cefuroxime (42.22%), with 27.78% being ESBL‐producing. Notably, 66.67% of isolates showed resistance to at least one antibiotic, and 35.56% exhibited multiresistant phenotypes.

Practical approaches to exploiting body dynamics in robot motor control [PDF]
Motor control systems in the brain of humans and mammals are hierarchically organised, with each level controlling increasingly complex motor actions. Each level is controlled by the higher levels and also receives sensory and/or proprioceptive feedback.

A differentiable physics engine for deep learning in robotics [PDF]
An important field in robotics is the optimization of controllers. Currently, robots are often treated as a black box in this optimization process, which is the reason why derivative-free optimization methods such as evolutionary algorithms or ...
