Clinical Characteristics and Outcomes of Rome IV Diarrhea-Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Functional Diarrhea Prescribed With Ondansetron: A Real-World Study. [PDF]

In a cohort of 92 patients with chronic diarrhea (irritable bowel syndrome diarrhea predominant and functional diarrhea), nearly 74% of patients reported an improvement in their symptoms with ondansetron. Symptom relief was maintained long‐term with a low‐dose therapy.
