Microfluidic Gratings for X‐Ray Phase Contrast Imaging
This work establishes a new protocol for the fabrication of X‐ray gratings that exploits the advantages of microfluidics and enables a more inexpensive, faster, and scalable production process. These X‐ray devices are fundamental for implementing X‐ray phase contrast imaging (XPCI) in laboratory and clinical settings, yet their costly and complex ...

Ox‐mtDNA fragments escaping from mitochondria drive robust inflammatory responses. A targeted nanoplatform simultaneously inhibits mitochondrial FEN1‐mediated mtDNA cleavage and scavenges ROS, preventing the generation of immunogenic Ox‐mtDNA fragments. The released SeNPs further promote autophagic clearance of cytosolic mtDNA. Consequently, cGAS‐STING,

Chronic stress reshapes the gut microbiota and enriches Lactobacillus reuteri, promoting microbiota‐associated kynurenine accumulation through altered tryptophan metabolism. Kynurenine drives immunosuppressive remodeling of tumor‐associated macrophages through TNFR2–C/EBPβ signaling, thereby enhancing gastric cancer dissemination.

The first hydrogel system employing anion–π interactions as a central design motif is developed. The cooperative aromatic–phosphate interaction motif provides dynamic cohesion and is proposed to regulate the separation and transport of water‐derived ionic species, achieving high piezoionic response in injectable, self‐healing, ultrasoft, low‐salinity ...

A low dose of dexmedetomidine, delivered by ROS‐responsive nanoparticles, preferentially accumulates in the ischemic intestine and restores gut vascular barrier integrity after ischemia/reperfusion injury. This nanoparticle‐based strategy prevents bacterial translocation and liver damage without cardiorespiratory side effects, working through HDAC ...

Deep versus moderate neuromuscular block during one-lung ventilation in lung resection surgery
Background and objectives: Neuromuscular relaxants are essential during general anesthesia for several procedures. Classical anesthesiology literature indicates that the use of neuromuscular blockade in thoracic surgery may be deleterious in patients in ...
