Revision of Detonella Lohmander, 1927 (Crustacea, Isopoda, Oniscidea)

The north Pacific littoral oniscid Detonella papillicornis (Richardson, 1905), the type-species of Detonella Lohmander, 1927 is redescribed and its phylogenetic relations are discussed. The other three nominal species of Detonella are recognised as synonyms.
