Oocyst Simultaneous Infection to Increase Broiler Immunity from Coccidiosis [PDF]
Coccidiosis is one of parasitic disease caused by Eimeria which is frequently occurs in broiler chick. The disease produces enteritis diarrhea that affects viability and growth. Stimulating its immune could be done by repeated light oocyst infection.Â

Oocyst formation in mutant parasites.
Two independently prepared mutants were used for assessing the phenotype in each gene. The number of oocysts was counted 14 days after an infective blood meal by mosquitoes. The value is an average from 25 mosquitoes.
