Sterile neutrino dark matter: impact of active-neutrino opacities
The resonant production of keV sterile-neutrino dark matter mainly takes place during the QCD epoch of the early universe. It has been argued that it could be strongly affected by the opacities (or damping rates) of active neutrinos, which receive non ...

An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

State of free radical oxidation in the surgical treatment of vitreous floating opacities
The paper describes the development of the local and general statement of free radical oxidation in patients with vitreous opacities during vitrectomy. We examined 35 patients who underwent surgical treatment of vitreous opacities. We observed a positive

Analysis of Parainflammation in Chronic Glaucoma Using Vitreous-OCT Imaging
Glaucoma causes blindness due to the progressive death of retinal ganglion cells. The immune response chronically and subclinically mediates a homeostatic role.

Grain Physics and Rosseland Mean Opacities
Tables of mean opacities are often used to compute the transfer of radiation in a variety of astrophysical simulations from stellar evolution models to proto-planetary disks. Often tables, such as Ferguson et al. (2005), are computed with a predetermined

Non--local radiative transfer in strongly inverted masers [PDF]
Maser transitions are commonly observed in media exhibiting a large range of densities and temperatures. They can be used to obtain information on the dynamics and physical conditions of the observed regions.

The study presents biodegradable and recyclable mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs), hydrogels, and cryogels using luminescent nanoscale metal‐organic frameworks (nMOFs) and biopolymers. These bio‐nMOF‐MMMs combine europium‐based nMOFs as probes for the status of the materials with the biopolymers agar and gelatine and present alternatives to conventional ...

The pasta phase and its consequences on neutrino opacities
In this paper, we calculate the diffusion coefficients that are related to the neutrino opacities considering the formation of nuclear pasta and homogeneous matter at low densities.

A bikitaite‐infused cellulose separator is introduced for Li metal batteries, leveraging bikitaite zeolite's ion‐conductive properties to regulate Li+‐ion flux and suppress dendrite growth. The membrane design ensures uniform Li plating, enhanced electrolyte wettability, and robust thermal/mechanical stability, delivering stable performance and low ...

Gas phase mean opacities for varying [M/H], N/O, and C/O
We present a set of gas-phase Planck mean and Rosseland mean opacity tables applicable for simulations of star and planet formation, stellar evolution, disk modelling at various metallicities in hydrogen-rich environments.
