SPIN DENSITY WAVE OF ORGANIC FERROMAGNETS WITH OPEN ENDS

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 1999
Spin density wave in organic ferromagnets with open ends was studied and the results were compared with that in a closed organic ferromagnet ring. It was found that an end-open chain structure is unfavorable for the formation of the ferromagnetic ground.

Spinning strings and minimal surfaces in $AdS_3$ with mixed 3-form fluxes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Motivated by the recent proposal for the S-matrix in $AdS_3\times S^3$ with mixed three form fluxes, we study classical folded string spinning in $AdS_3$ with both Ramond and Neveu-Schwarz three form fluxes.

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Low‐Cost, Large‐Scale Nanoporous Metals by Mechanical Alloying, Oxide Reduction, and Dealloying of Powders

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Powder metal processing provides scalable advantages in nanoporous (np) metal development. Mechanical alloying is used to produce unique precursors for hybrid nanopore formation by oxide reduction and dealloying. As demonstrated in np Ag, this approach improves process efficiency while promoting smaller ligaments and larger pores, both of which are ...

Effects of acetone cyanohydrin, a derivative of cassava, on motor activity and kidney and liver function in Wistar rats

open access: yesNeurología (English Edition), 2019
Introduction: Acetone cyanohydrin (ACH) is a toxic substance present in cassava roots (Manihot esculenta Crantz) which results from enzymatic hydrolysis of linamarin.
