Design of a Microstrip Diplexer and Triplexer Using Open Loop Resonators
In this paper a novel design of microstrip diplexer and triplexer using open loop resonators is presented. The proposed diplexer if formed by two band-pass filters for the Industrial Scientific Medical (ISM) applications at 5.8 GHz and the WIMAX ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Balanced-to-Balanced Microstrip Diplexer Based on Magnetically Coupled Resonators
Two balanced-to-balanced planar diplexers based on magnetically coupled microstrip resonators are proposed in this paper. For the first prototype, each channel/differential-output is composed of a second order single-band balanced bandpass filter based ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Hexagonal open loop resonators employing frequency shift coding for Chipless RFID tag applications [PDF]
A novel, high surface encoding capacity compact planar multiresonator tailored for Chipless RFID tag applications is discussed in this article. The tag consists of three hexagonal open loop resonators that are etched on the ground plane of a 50Ω ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Short-Circuited Stub-Embedded Ring Resonator and its Application in Diplexer
Two types of short-circuited stub-embedded ring resonators (SERRs) are proposed in this paper. The resonant modes of the SERR can be designed by properly choosing the short-circuited point on the resonator.
