A Study and Analysis of the Open Government Data Ecosystem Models

open access: yesIranian Journal of Information Processing & Management, 2019
The conversion of published data by government to a value and social effect is not done automatically and requires a number of actors with different functions that by activating and connecting them with each other, we can use data.

Reliability Analyses of Open Government Data. [PDF]

open access: yesCEUR Workshop Proceedings, 2013
Public authorities are increasingly sharing sets of open data. These data are often preprocessed (e.g. smoothened, aggregated) to avoid to expose sensible data, while trying to preserve their reliability. We present two procedures for tackling the lack of methods for measuring the open data reliability.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Situating Open Data

open access: yes, 2020
Open data and its effects on society are always woven into infrastructural legacies, social relations, and the political economy. This raises questions about how our understanding and engagement with open data shifts when we focus on its situated use. To

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

How to Enable Collaboration in Open Government Data Ecosystems: A Public Platform Provider’s Perspective [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes, 2021
Open Government Data (OGD) is an important driver for open innovation among public entities. However, extant research highlights a need for improved feedback loops, collaboration, and a more demand-driven publication of OGD. In this study, we explore how

Open geospatial data: A comparison of data cultures in local government

open access: yesIASSIST Quarterly, 2022
Public geospatial data (geodata) is created at all levels of government, including federal, state, and local (county and municipal). Local governments, in particular, are critical sources of geodata because they produce foundational datasets, such as ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
