Various kinds of generalized open sets are studied together in this article. The author considers monotone mappings \(\gamma:\exp X\to \exp X\) (monotone in the sense that \(A\subset B\) implies \(\gamma(a)\subset \gamma(B)\)), and develops properties common to several classes of generalized open sets.

A View on Fuzzy Minimal Open Sets and Fuzzy Maximal Open Sets
International Journal of Software Science and Computational Intelligence, 2015A nonzero fuzzy open set () of a fuzzy topological space is said to be fuzzy minimal open (resp. fuzzy maximal open) set if any fuzzy open set which is contained (resp. contains) in is either or itself (resp. either or itself). In this note, a new class of sets called fuzzy minimal open sets and fuzzy maximal open sets in fuzzy topological spaces are ...

The book’s opening chapter takes the reader to the Piedra Roja rock music festival. It focuses on the voices and agency of those who gathered—many of them hippies—at that landmark event in Greater Santiago’s municipality of Las Condes during a three-day weekend in October 1970.

When the training and the test data belong to different domains, the accuracy of an object classifier is significantly reduced. Therefore, several algorithms have been proposed in the last years to diminish the so called domain shift between datasets.

On the Lattices of Effectively Open Sets
2016We show that for many natural computable metric spaces and computable domains the first order theory of the lattice of effectively open sets is hereditarily undecidable. Moreover, for several important spaces (e.g., finite-dimensional Euclidean spaces and the domain \(P\omega \)) this theory is m-equivalent to the first-order arithmetic.

Perturbations of open sets of attainability
Mathematical Systems Theory, 1976We show that the set of pointsG on then-dimensional manifold, for which the set of attainability is open, is open itself and that ifx andy are points in the same connected component ofG then their sets of attainability,A(x) andA(y) are equal.

Construction of Wavelets on Open Sets
1989We shall describe a way to construct wavelets on an open set Ω of R n (this construction is a joint work with Y.MEYER and can be found in (1) ;the reader should look there for precisions),then we shall give a more explicit description of the two following points that are important for possible applications: The asymptotic behavior (wavelets that are ...

A new 166-bed hospital complex in Yorkshire is now almost ready to receive its first patients. The complex will replace the facilities from a number of small hospitals in the Yorkshire towns of Goole and Howden, and bring together the area's out-patient clinics.
