Understanding the Hot‐Exciplex Emission in U‐Shaped Donor–Acceptor Functionalized Phenylanthracenes for Triplet Harvesting Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesChemPhotoChem, Volume 10, Issue 7, July 2026.
Hot exciplexes enable rapid triplet harvesting and high‐efficiency emission from an anthracene‐localized singlet state. By systematically varying donor and acceptor units and correlating photophysical data with TD‐DFT calculations, we identify key structural parameters governing bright hot‐exciplex emission.

Safety and Efficacy of a Sandwich Total Neoadjuvant Therapy Strategy for Low‐Risk Distal Locally Advanced Rectal Cancer: Results From the TESS Phase II Trial

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2026.
The proposed sandwich total neoadjuvant treatment (TNT) strategy (NeoCT–CRT–NeoCT) represents a safe and effective therapeutic option for carefully selected patients with low‐risk distal locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). By sequentially integrating induction chemotherapy, concurrent chemoradiotherapy, and consolidation chemotherapy, this approach ...
