Fully automated (operational) modal analysis
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 2012Abstract Modal parameter estimation requires a lot of user interaction, especially when parametric system identification methods are used and the modes are selected in a stabilization diagram. In this paper, a fully automated, generally applicable three-stage clustering approach is developed for interpreting such a diagram.

Covariance regression for operational modal analysis
Journal of Vibration and Control, 2021This article proposes a covariance regression procedure for operational modal analysis. The whole work is mainly twofold. On the one hand, two identities on the covariance are presented and they reveal that the covariance at different times is linearly dependent through both scalar and matrix coefficients.

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012Modal parameters for LG51SH broaching machine from operational responses are studied to examine the dynamic properties of mechanical structure. The operational modal is analyzed using PolyMAX method with responsive data of key point in broaching machine, which is excited in practical broaching operation and tested by LMS SCADAIII-105 system.
