A modification of Hardy-Littlewood maximal function on Lie groups [PDF]
For a real-valued function $f$ on a metric measure space $(X,d,\mu)$ the Hardy-Littlewood centered-ball maximal-function of $f$ is given by the `supremum-norm':$$Mf(x):=\sup_{r>0}\frac{1}{\mu(\mathcal{B}_{x,r})}\int_{\mathcal{B}_{x,r}}|f|d\mu.$$In this ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Harmonic Analysis Operators Associated with Multidimensional Bessel Operators
In this paper we establish that the maximal operator and the Littlewood-Paley g-function associated with the heat semigroup defined by multidimensional Bessel operators are of weak type (1,1).

Sampling and reconstruction of functions is a central tool in science. A key result is given by the sampling theorem for bandlimited functions attributed to Whittaker, Shannon, Nyquist, and Kotelnikov.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A Novel Method for Solutions of Fourth-Order Fractional Boundary Value Problems
In this paper, we find the solutions of fourth order fractional boundary value problems by using the reproducing kernel Hilbert space method. Firstly, the reproducing kernel Hilbert space method is introduced and then the method is applied to this kind ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

New novel and mathematics [PDF]
Author in the study damasks false analogy of a genre of new novel with mathematic creating process as it was proposed by some theoreticians. New novel according to theoretical assumptions of the representatives of the theory replaces a function of ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
