ABSTRACT Orbital lipomas are rare in dogs and may pose diagnostic and surgical challenges. This report describes the case of a 14‐year‐old female Border Collie presenting chronic exophthalmos caused by a retrobulbar mass. On ophthalmic examination, the animal maintained bilateral vision despite chronic exposure of the right ocular surface.
