Whither Now, Opinion Modelers?
The article describes the current status and potential directions of development of agent-based models of social opinion dynamics. Despite extensive effort, the models achieve, at best, only qualitative agreement with social observations.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Opinion dynamics on biased dynamical networks: Beyond rare opinion updating
Opinion dynamics is of paramount importance as it provides insights into the complex dynamics of opinion propagation and social relationship adjustment. It is assumed in most of the previous works that social relationships evolve much faster than opinions. This is not always true in reality.

Sociophysics has devoted a lot of attention to social influence and opinion dynamics. Among the others, the pioneering works by Galam, where agents randomly gather in groups of different size until consensus is reached, have been used to analyze the spreading of rumors. Galam’s model however, considers only special kinds of social spaces.

Objective In complex diseases, it is challenging to assess a patient's disease state, trajectory, treatment exposures, and risk of multiple outcomes simultaneously, efficiently, and at the point of care. Methods We developed an interactive patient‐level data visualization and analysis tool (VAT) that automates illustration of the trajectory of a ...

Opinion Dynamics with Limited Information
AbstractWe study opinion formation games based on the famous model proposed by Friedkin and Johsen (FJ model). In today’s huge social networks the assumption that in each round agents update their opinions by taking into account the opinions of all their friends is unrealistic.

Discrete opinion dynamics with M choices [PDF]
Here, I study how to obtain an opinion dynamics model for the case where there are $M$ possible discrete choices and there is need to model how strong each agent choice is. The new model is obtained as an extension of the Continuous Opinions and Discrete Actions (CODA) model. Technical difficulties with the choice of proper variables for a simple model
