Optic Disc Anomalies with Excavation in the Disc (Optic Disc Pit, Morning Glory Disc Anomaly, Optic Disc Coloboma, Peripapillary Staphyloma)

Optic disc pits, optic disc coloboma, morning glory disc anomaly, and peripapillary staphyloma are the leading optic disc anomalies with excavation in the disc. These anomalies can be seen together with some syndromes and in this case, can be evaluated as part of the spectrum of the disease.

Tumour‐proximal deep serum proteomics identifies biomarkers associated with ovarian cancer

New biomarkers are needed for early ovarian cancer detection. Ovarian (tumour‐proximal) and peripheral vein serum from healthy women and patients with benign or malignant tumours underwent nanoparticle‐enriched deep proteomics. Ovarian serum yielded more protein identifications and revealed tumour‐reflective signatures.

Attitudes of cancer patients toward ctDNA‐based liquid biopsy for follow‐up

This mixed‐methods study explored cancer patients' experiences, knowledge, and preferences regarding ctDNA‐based liquid biopsy for follow‐up. Awareness of ctDNA was low and recall of previous liquid biopsy was imperfect, yet acceptance was high.

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Double optic disc – differentiating between true and pseudo-duplication
