Coaxial Electrospinning of Multicomponent Fiber Membranes for Sustained Oxygen Supply in Hypoxic Environment

Core‐sheath fiber membrane produced by coaxial electrospinning contains calcium peroxide providing oxygen for pancreatic islets in a hypoxic environment, resulting in enhanced cell viability. Catalase enzyme was embedded in the fiber sheath, significantly reducing production of cytotoxic hydrogen peroxide while increasing release of oxygen.

Janus nanofibers were created using tri‐fluid electrospinning with a tri‐channel spinneret, with one side composed of ethylcellulose and TiO2and the other side containing sodium alginate and tea polyphenols. Summary The current classification of sweat gland carcinomas is based on histomorphological characteristics and distinguishes between more than 20 entities. Most patients are older, but some subtypes also affect middle‐aged and younger patients. The majority of tumors arise de novo. Sweat gland carcinomas have nonspecific clinical features.
