ABSTRACT Surgical informed consent documents represent an important interface between anatomical knowledge and patient‐facing clinical information; however, no structured approach currently exists for evaluating how anatomy is represented and communicated within these materials.

Detecting communities when order and direction matter in social network analysis
Abstract A novel algorithm combining both node degree and edge betweenness (node degree+edge betweenness) is developed to highlight gradients in connectivity. It identifies communities within complex directed graphs. These are networks that are composed of actors who have ties that originate and end at themselves (self‐loops).

Despite developments in supporting the identification and selection of fit‐for‐purpose registries, a translational gap remains between the original purposes of clinically focused registries and their current and future expected use in policymaking. This study aimed to assess the extent to which cancer‐focused registries collect essential data elements ...

Changes in normal ocular biometry and optics with age
SummaryOcular biometry can vary widely between subjects of similar gender and age. The intraocular interaction to achieve a particular refraction is almost unique for each individual eye. For this reason, a single eye model cannot adequately represent the range of keratometry and axial length data (e.g.
