Experimental Characterization of Fiber Optic Lighting - Optical Camera Communications
2021 IEEE 32nd Annual International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC), 2021In this paper, we study the novel idea of fiber optic lighting - optical camera communications. We carry out analyses of the proposed scheme employing a light emitting diode (LED) illuminated plastic optical fiber (POF) and a rolling-shutter-based camera as the transmitter and the receiver (Rx), respectively in an indoor static environment.
