Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

High Optical Efficiency of ZnO Nanoparticles [PDF]
We develop optically efficient photocatalytic ZnO nanoparticles that we chemically embed and well disperse into host PVAc thin films and experimentally demonstrate the highest optical efficiency of ~70% in ZnO nanoparticle films, with increasing optical spectral efficiency as the excitation wavelength is swept from 370 nm to 290 nm.

Upconversion of optical signals with multi-longitudinal-mode pump lasers
Multi-longitudinal-mode lasers have been believed to be good candidates as pump sources for optical frequency conversion. However, we present a semi-classical model for frequency conversion of optical signals with a multimode pump laser, which shows that

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Micro-optical polarizer with high efficiency
Based on liquid crystal polymers (LCP) a compact micro-optical polarizer with high efficiency has been designed and realized. By using cylindrical microlens arrays made of LCP and index matching layer, a complete separation of both polarization components of the unpolarized input light is achieved.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Analytic treatment of controlled reversible inhomogeneous broadening quantum memories for light using two-level atoms [PDF]
It has recently been discovered that the optical analog of a gradient echo, in an optically thick material, could form the basis of an optical memory that is both completely efficient and noise-free. Here we present analytical calculations showing that
