Deterministic Plug-and-Play for Quantum Communication [PDF]
We present a scheme for secure deterministic quantum communication without using entanglement, in a Plug-and-Play fashion. The protocol is completely deterministic, both in the encoding procedure and in the control one, thus doubling the communication ...

Massively Distributed Antenna Systems With Nonideal Optical Fiber Fronthauls: A Promising Technology for 6G Wireless Communication Systems [PDF]
Employing massively distributed antennas brings radio access points (RAPs) closer to users, enabling aggressive spectrum reuse that can bridge gaps between the scarce spectrum resource and extremely high connection densities in future wireless systems ...

Objectives Sjögren's disease is an autoimmune disorder that can impact multiple organ systems, including the peripheral nervous system (PNS). PNS manifestations, which can exist concurrently, include mononeuropathies, polyneuropathies, and autonomic nervous system neuropathies. To help patients and providers in the decision‐making process, we developed

Wi-Fi sensing gesture control algorithm based on semi-supervised generative adversarial network [PDF]
A Wi-Fi-sensing gesture control system for smart homes has been developed based on a theoretical investigation of the Fresnel region sensing model, addressing the need for non-contact gesture control in household environments. The system collects channel

Enhanced Gain Characteristics of PbS-Doped Silica Fiber in O-Band by Co-Doping Er Ions
We report a novel PbS/Er co-doped silica fiber (PEDF) with improved spectral properties in O-band (1260–1360 nm). The results show that the gain of the PEDF exceeds 15 dB in the range of 1150–1360 nm.

Hybrid noiseless subsystems for quantum communication over optical fibers
We derive the general structure of noiseless subsystems for optical radiation contained in a sequence of pulses undergoing collective depolarization in an optical fiber. This result is used to identify optimal ways to implement quantum communication over
