Why theory matters for causal inference? Rethinking endogeneity in entrepreneurship research
Abstract Endogeneity in entrepreneurship research is often treated as a statistical complication addressable through advanced econometric tools. This commentary argues that such an approach overlooks a deeper issue: endogeneity is conceptual before it is statistical.

Analisi della dicotomia apparenza-realtà: realismo entro i sistemi di riferimento
This essay investigates the dichotomy between appearance and reality. We will look into some emblematic examples, like the Müller-Lyer optical illusion and the Gelb effect, in order to show how a careful phenomenological analysis overcomes all forms of ...

Meta‐Virtuality: Strategies of Disembeddedness in Virtual Interiorities
ABSTRACT To reclaim their seat in the rapidly growing market of virtual space, designers of the built environment can benefit from reevaluating theories that see the virtual as a mere extension/reflection of the physical. By claiming ontological autonomy from external worlds, the virtual is liberated from the hegemonic control of the physical.

Counter-rotating standing spin waves: A magneto-optical illusion
We excite perpendicular standing spin waves by a laser pulse in a GaMnAsP ferromagnetic layer and detect them using time-resolved magneto-optical effects. Quite counter-intuitively, we find the first two excited modes to be of opposite chirality.
