SPIE Proceedings, 2014This paper summarizes the results of a dynamic link attenuation probability study in inter-satellites homodyne BPSK optical communication system. The impacts of the pointing and tracking error on the coherence receiving power are investigated analytically.

Receiver design for optical inter-satellite links based on digital signal processing
2016 18th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON), 2016We present a comparison of homodyne and intradyne detection schemes for high-order modulation formats in optical inter-satellite communication systems. The homodyne detection based on optical PLL techniques is numerically investigated for BPSK and QPSK transmission.
