Photon Antibunching and Magnetospectroscopy of a Single Fluorine Donor in ZnSe

open access: yes, 2010
We report on the optical investigation of single electron spins bound to fluorine donor impurities in ZnSe. Measurements of photon antibunching establish the presence of single, isolated optical emitters, and magneto-optical studies are consistent with ...

Optical properties of recent non-fullerene molecular acceptors for bulk heterojunction solar cells

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2020
For many years the faith of organic photovoltaics has been linked to the one of fullerene, since fullerene has been considered the electron-acceptor of choice in bulk heterojunctions solar cells.

Optical investigation of nanophotonic lithium niobate-based optical waveguide

open access: yesApplied Physics B, 2015
Lithium niobate (LiNbO3) nanophotonics are prepared on quartz substrate by sol–gel method. They have been deposited with different molarity concentrations and annealed at 500 °C. These samples are characterized and analyzed by scanning electron microscope, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffraction and ultraviolet–visible.

Effect of optical disorder and single defects on the expansion of a Bose-Einstein condensate in a one-dimensional waveguide

open access: yes, 2005
We investigate the one-dimensional expansion of a Bose-Einstein condensate in an optical guide in the presence of a random potential created with optical speckles. With the speckle the expansion of the condensate is strongly inhibited.

Investigation of Wide-FSR SOI Optical Filters Operating in C and L Bands [PDF]

open access: yesTelfor Journal, 2012
In this paper we present the investigation of optical filters based on triple ring resonator architectures in silicon-on-insulator technology. The generalized approach based on Mason’s rule and delay line signal processing has been implemented for ...

Theoretical Investigation of Anhydrofusarubin: Structural and Optical Properties

open access: yesCrystals, 2023
Anhydrofusarubin is a naphthoquinone pigment synthesized by a number of Fusarium genus fungi. Being a biologically active substance, it demonstrates promising antibiotic properties and rather good hypothetical effectiveness against certain types of ...

COMPREHENSIVE INVESTIGATION MODELING FOR SEMICONDUCTOR OPTICAL AMPLIFIER (SOA) [PDF]

open access: yesJordanian Journal of Computers and Information Technology, 2015
This paper presents the effects of the input signal on the gain and carrier density response of a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). The SOA is modeled using a segmentation method. The input bias current, input power, wavelength and the length of SOA

Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.
