Recording of touch sensing using optical motion capture system
Proceedings of the 2019 11th International Conference on Education Technology and Computers, 2019In this research, we clarify cognitive process of figure and shape of the visually impaired. We take motion capture of finger position when touch sensing tactile picture, acquire it as coordinate data of fingertip, and quantitatively analyze and evaluate touch sensing.

Authentication-Based on Biomechanics of Finger Movements Captured Using Optical Motion-Capture
2018In this paper, we propose an authentication approach based on the uniqueness of the biomechanics of finger movements. We use an optical-marker-based motion-capture as a preliminary setup to capture goniometric (joint-related) and dermatologic (skin-related) features from the flexion and extension of the index and middle fingers of a subject.

Teleoperation of a Humanoid Robot Using an Optical Motion Capture System
2018 IEEE International Work Conference on Bioinspired Intelligence (IWOBI), 2018Given the resemblance between the human body and that of a humanoid robot, a very intuitive control system might use motion capture; the system would track the motion of different key joints along the body of the human operator and the robot should mimic the action.

Cable motion capture and analysis based on optical tracking system
Robotica, 2014SUMMARYAs a fatigable part of industrial products, cable is a valuable research topic to predict the product lifetime. Since the cable fatigue is related to the bending radius in motion, this paper presents a cable motion capture and bending radius calculation method based on optical tracking system.

Encoded Marker Clusters for Auto-Labeling in Optical Motion Capture
ACM Transactions on GraphicsMarker-based optical motion capture (MoCap) is a vital tool in applications such as virtual production, and movement sciences. However, reconstructing scattered MoCap data into real motion sequences is challenging, and data processing is time-consuming and labor-intensive. Here we propose a novel framework for MoCap auto-labeling and matching.

Visualization of 3D Human Motion Captured with an Optical Motion Analysis System
2003To visualize dynamic 3-dimensional (3D) human motion data captured with optical motion analysis systerns, a Windows program that reads motion data in a comma-separated-values (CSV) format file, transforms the 3D coordinates datasets to joint angles, and writes the joint angle data as a BVH format file used in 3D applications such as Poser, has been ...

Visualization and analysis of captured data from optical motion capture system
2015This master thesis is focused on acquisition and analysis of motion capture data. We propose a prototype application developed with latest web technologies that enables real time data transfer of selected markers from remote optical system to client's local coordinate system.
