Plasmonic effects upon optical trapping of metal nanoparticles
Optical trapping of metal nanoparticles investigates phenomena at the interface of plasmonics and optical micromanipulation. This thesis combines ideas of optical properties of metals originating from solid state physics with force mechanism resulting ...

Vortex sheets in optical and coherence fields
Instead of the well-known line type of phase singularities in optical and coherence fields, we introduce a new concept of what we call Vortex Sheet into singular optics.

Janus Photonic Graphics by Stratified Assembly of Two Distinct Colloids
Double‐sided Janus photonic micropatterns with vivid structural colors are fabricated through a single‐step bottom‐up strategy. Density‐driven stratification and depletion‐mediated crystallization of PMMA and PS binary colloids lead to exclusive lattices on opposite surfaces under centrifugal force.

Transverse and Longitudinal Energy Flows in a Sharp Focus of Vortex and Cylindrical Vector Beams
It is shown in this work that, with strong focusing of a beam with optical vortex and circular polarization, three energy flows take place in the focal plane: direct longitudinal, reverse longitudinal and azimuthal transverse flows. Calculations are made

Develop a LiCl–PEI–PAM hydrogel with 3000% stretchability and excellent optical transparency. Through comparative studies of various salts, confirm that LiCl is the most suitable salt for high TENG output. Achieve excellent freeze‐resistant, dry‐resistant, and rapid self‐healing (10 s) properties even in extreme environments. Balance ionic conductivity,

Spatially dependent Raman gain by vortex beam in a four-level N-typed atomic system
An efficient scheme for controlling the spatial Raman gain is proposed in a cold atomic ensemble with a four-level N-typed configuration. The cold atoms are driven by the Laguerre-Gaussian (LG) vortex beams. Considering the control and driving fields are
