Viologen phosphoric acid salt modified PEDOT:PSS for high‐performance 3D perovskite photodetectors
A novel viologen derivative, APV, is incorporated into PEDOT:PSS to enhance the performance of 3D perovskite photodetectors. The optimized device achieves an ultra‐low dark current of 5.75 × 10−7 mA cm−2 and a large bandwidth of 1.5 MHz. Integrated into an optical wireless communication system, it achieves a data rate of 12.5 Mbps, demonstrating ...

Optical wireless communications (OWCs) provide a promising alternative to spectrum‐congested microwave wireless communications. Recently, the use of metasurfaces with sub‐wavelength features for dynamic beam steering, beam manipulation, and spatial or optical‐angular‐momentum mode generation, conversion, and multiplexing in OWCs is proposed and ...

Ultralow Photon Flux OWC Links Using UV‐C Single‐Photon Detection
This work presents ultralow photon flux UV‐C optical wireless communication (OWC) links using a micro‐LED and a silicon photomultiplier (SiPM)‐based single‐photon detector (SPD). A record‐low transmission of 7.7 photons per bit and a maximum data rate of 120 Mbit s−1 are achieved. Furthermore, single‐photon links highlight the potential for a future UV‐
