Optically stimulated luminescence dating using quartz
Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) signals from quartz can be used to determine when sedimentary archives were deposited. OSL dating uses the accumulation of energy stored in a crystal structure to measure time. This stored energy is absorbed from ionizing radiation, and is released (reset) by heat or daylight.

Study of optically stimulated luminescence in K2SO4:Ce
Highly sensitive cerium-doped K2SO4phosphor was synthesized for optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) properties. The present study mainly investigated various kinetic parameters and correlation between the thermoluminescence and OSL (TL-OSL) processes.

Effect of Sr on the luminescence properties of Eu3+ activated xZnO-(1-x) SrO-Al2O3 phosphors
Europium-doped xZnO-SrO-Al _2 O _3 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8, 1) phosphors were synthesized by the traditional Solid-State Reaction (SSR) method. The structure of the phosphors prepared was analysed with the x-ray diffraction technique. The xZnO-(1-
