In Situ Confinement of 0D Halometallates Within Deep Eutectic Solvents: From Systematic Screening to Metal‐Tunable Luminescence for Anti‐Counterfeiting Eutectogels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report photostable, photoluminescent deep eutectic solvents (DESs) powered by in situ‐formed zero‐dimensional (0D) halometallates. Stabilized by microenvironment‐controlling hydrogen bond acceptor (HBA) and donor (HBD) networks, these DESs exhibit vibrant, metal ion‐tunable emission (PLQY = 60.2%).

One‐Step Preparation of Lanthanide‐Doped Polyurea Multicolor Microspheres for Versatile Fluorescent Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lanthanide‐doped polyurea microspheres are prepared via a facile one‐step precipitation polymerization. They exhibit strong hydrogen‐bonding and coordination interactions with excellent properties, including multicolor emission, high quantum yield (75.3%), remarkable stability, redispersibility, and biocompatibility.

Membrane Fusion‐Mediated Cytosolic Delivery of Threose Nucleic Acids via Homotypic Nanoparticles Overcomes Drug Resistance in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a biomimetic “nanofusion” platform that integrates the biostability of threose nucleic acids (TNA) with homotypic cell‐membrane cloaking to combat drug‐resistant TNBC. By leveraging a non‐canonical membrane‐fusion pathway for direct cytosolic delivery, the platform bypasses endosomal sequestration. To achieve potent AKT2 silencing

Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) Dating of Shallow Marine Sediments

open access: yesThe Quaternary Research (Daiyonki-Kenkyu), 2003

OSL-SAR dating of sediments from Brazilian aeolian system: Dama Branca, Rio de Janeiro, morphodynamic study

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Radiation Sciences, 2019
It has been reported that the formation and stabilization of coastal dune fields in Brazil have a dependence on the climatic changes, Relative Sea Level (RSL) variations, etc.

Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) Dating of Alluvial Deposits from the Cahuachi Archaeological Site (South Peru)

open access: yesGeosciences
Cahuachi (Nazca River Valley, South Peru) was the major ceremonial center of the Nasca civilization. According to previous studies, it was struck and destroyed by three El Niño-Southern Oscillation events, which would have occurred around 100 BCE, 600 CE

Determination of Uranium, Thorium and Potassium for Optically Stimulated Luminescence Dating by ICP-MS and XRF

open access: yesYankuang ceshi
Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating includes the measurement of the equivalent dose and the environmental dose rate. The accurate determination of uranium, thorium and potassium is an important step in ensuring the accurate calculation of the ...

Possible reasons for anomalous fading in alkali feldspars used for luminescence dating of Quaternary deposits [PDF]

open access: yesEstonian Journal of Earth Sciences, 2007
According to many publications, alkali feldspars are characterized by specific athermal (anomalous) fading of their thermoluminescence and optically-stimulated luminescence.

Towards the optically stimulated luminescence dating of unheated flint

open access: yesQuaternary Geochronology
Flint tools are important archaeological finds, but unheated specimens remain challenging to date. The optical luminescence properties of the microcrystalline flint differ from sedimentary quartz grains, and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) has, therefore, only occasionally been used to date heated flint specimens.
