Application of A Frequency Chirped RF Intensity Modulated 532 nm Light Source in Underwater Ranging
A radio-frequency (RF) intensity-modulated light source at 532 nm was built for underwater ranging. The intensity of a narrow-linewidth laser at 1064 nm was modulated via a Mach-Zehnder electro-optical modulator.

Splitting indistinguishable photons: Using linear optics to exceed the limit of photon blockade [PDF]
Photon-photon interactions are an essential requirement of quantum photonic information processing. One way to generate these interactions is to utilize an atom strongly coupled to an optical cavity. This system exhibits the photon blockade effect which enables single photon switching and creation of non-classical light.

Photon Pair Generation with Tailored Frequency Correlations in Graded-Index Multimode Optical Fibers [PDF]
We study theoretically the generation of photon pairs with controlled spectral correlations via the four-wave mixing (FWM) process in graded-index multimode optical fibers (GIMFs). We show that the quantum correlations of the generated photons in GIMFs can be preserved over a wide spectral range for a tunable pump source.

High-speed quantum transducer with a single-photon emitter in a 2D resonator [PDF]
Quantum transducers can transfer quantum information between different systems. Microwave-optical photon conversion is important for future quantum networks to interconnect remote superconducting quantum computers with optical fibers. Here we propose a high-speed quantum transducer based on a single-photon emitter in an atomically thin membrane ...
