Contingency-Constrained Unit Commitment With Intervening Time for System Adjustments
The N-1-1 contingency criterion considers the con- secutive loss of two components in a power system, with intervening time for system adjustments. In this paper, we consider the problem of optimizing generation unit commitment (UC) while ensuring N-1-1 ...

A two‐phase workflow (OFAT screening followed by central composite design) maps how processing variables tune PFCE‐PLGA nanoparticle size, dispersity, surface charge, loading, and 19F‐MRI signal. In situ, time‐resolved synchrotron SAXS tracks albumin‐corona growth on intact dispersions and reveals PFCE‐dependent adsorption pathways.

An Optimized Load Shedding Strategy Using Fuzzy MOORA Ranking
Ensuring the stability and reliability of power systems under fault conditions and power imbalances remains a critical challenge in modern electrical networks. Among various mitigation techniques, selective Load Shedding (LS) is recognized as an effective method for restoring the system balance. However, identifying which loads to shed involves complex
