Locally optimal controllers and globally inverse optimal controllers [PDF]

open access: yesAutomatica, 2014
In this paper we consider the problem of global asymptotic stabilization with prescribed local behavior. We show that this problem can be formulated in terms of control Lyapunov functions. Moreover, we show that if the local control law has been synthesized employing a LQ approach, then the associated Lyapunov function can be seen as the value function

Bipartite Tracking Consensus Control of Nonlinear High-Order Multi-Agent Systems Subject to Exogenous Disturbances

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This study concentrates on the bipartite tracking consensus for nonlinear high-order multi-agent systems(MASs) subject to exogenous disturbances over a signed directed graph. First, under the condition of nonlinear dynamics, two new control protocols are

Equivalence Analysis of Cascade Control for a Class of Cascade Integral Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
A class of generalized proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control with feedforward compensation (FFC) is obtained for a class of cascade integral systems by equivalence analysis of the cascade control and such the analysis is obtained by using the ...

Optimal Control of Manipulator

open access: yesThe Bulletin of Irkutsk State University. Series Mathematics, 2022
When solving the problem of optimal performance for manipulative robots, the scientific team headed by F. L. Chernousko actively uses the Pontryagin maximum principle. The application of the maximum principle is complicated by the nonlinearities of controlled systems of manipulation robots.

Optimal Control of Boolean Control Networks [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 2014
In this paper, we address the optimal control problem for Boolean control networks (BCNs). We first consider the problem of finding the input sequences that minimize a given cost function over a finite time horizon. The problem solution is obtained by means of a recursive algorithm that represents the analogue for BCNs of the difference Riccati ...
