Prediction-Based Planning in Production System Management through Subsystem Interaction

open access: yesProceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT, 2018
The research concerns the investigation of predictive models based on optimal control task. It allows increasing the management efficiency due to joint consideration and synchronization of internal and external processes towards the system. In this paper,

About the Object-Oriented Implementation of the Branch and Boundary Method for the Travelling Salesman Problem. Part II

open access: yesСовременные информационные технологии и IT-образование, 2022
Many discrete optimization problems are very difficult to solve on a computer; hence they are titled “intractable”. More precisely, the possible approaches to solving these problems quickly are difficult to solve (for describing algorithms, for ...

Predicting the Future Burden of Renal Replacement Therapy in Türkiye Using National Registry Data and Comparative Modeling Approaches

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic kidney disease is a growing public health problem worldwide, and the number of patients requiring renal replacement therapy is steadily increasing. Türkiye has experienced a similar rise in both the incidence and prevalence of renal replacement therapy over the past decades; however, national‐level projections of future ...

Dual Methods for Optimal Allocation of Telecommunication Network Resources with Several Classes of Users

open access: yesMathematical and Computational Applications, 2018
We consider a general problem of optimal allocation of limited resources in a wireless telecommunication network. The network users are divided into several different groups (or classes), which correspond to different levels of service.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Profitable portfolio using fermatean fuzzy numbers [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Fuzzy Extension and Applications
Stock portfolio problems are one of the most relevant real-world problems. In this study, we discuss the portfolio's risk amount, rate of risk-return, and expected return rate under a Fermatean fuzzy environment.

Nicotinamide N‐methyltransferase promotes drug resistance in lung cancer, as revealed by nascent proteomic profiling

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...
