Rediscovering Sodium Ionophores as Selective Agents for Lithium Recognition and Extraction

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 32, 3 August 2026.
Long‐classified sodium ionophores unexpectedly prefer lithium and act as efficient extractants in solid–liquid extraction (SLE). Readily prepared from catechol and haloacetamides, these hosts recover hydrated LiCl from multicomponent salt mixtures via a hydration‐assisted O···Li+ binding mode, enabling scalable lithium separation with Li/Na, Li/K, and ...

Plasma β‐hydroxybutyrate concentrations in young adult females after a high‐fat meal under normoxaemia, intermittent hypoxaemia and continuous hypoxaemia: An exploratory analysis

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Hypoxaemia occurs in intermittent forms, such as obstructive sleep apnoea, and in continuous forms, such as at high altitude, and is increasingly recognized as a modulator of cardiometabolic risk. Although hypoxaemia alters postprandial glucose and lipid metabolism, its effects on ketone bodies remain unclear.

Социально-философская деятельность «Opus Dei»

open access: yesВестник Московского государственного лингвистического университета, 2013
В работе проведен объективный анализ деятельности организации «Opus Dei», персональной прелатуры Католической Церкви. Immunomodulatory and Cytotoxic Properties of Enniatin B1 in Porcine Alveolar Macrophages

open access: yesJournal of Applied Toxicology, Volume 46, Issue 9, Page 3220-3231, September 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates the immunomodulatory effects of Enniatin B1 (ENNB1), an emerging mycotoxin, on porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs), a species‐specific model relevant to human innate immunity. PAMs were exposed to increasing ENNB1 concentrations (0.5–6 μM) over 6, 24, and 48 h.

Sustained Improvement in Urine Testing Quality Indicator Through an Audit‐and‐Feedback Intervention in Japanese Primary Care: A Before‐and‐After Study

open access: yesJournal of General and Family Medicine, Volume 27, Issue 5, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Annual urine testing using the urine albumin‐to‐creatinine ratio (UACR) or urine protein‐to‐creatinine ratio (UPCR) is recommended for diabetic kidney disease (DKD) screening, yet attainment in nonspecialist primary care in Japan remains approximately 20%, and evidence on whether audit‐and‐feedback can produce sustained improvement ...
