Malignant craniopharyngiomas: Institutional experience and literature review
We report the second case of malignant craniopharyngioma with BAP1 and TP53 mutations. A literature review identified 44 cases of malignant craniopharyngiomas with a median overall survival of 6 months. Eighteen (41%) occurred in patients without any history of radiation, suggesting that mechanisms other than radiation have contributed to their ...

Using a machine learning–based approach in a multi‐institutional prospective cohort, we identified a robust miRNA signature that demonstrated high diagnostic accuracy for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. Our 57‐miRNA panel achieved an AUC of 0.90 in the proof‐of‐concept cohort and 0.85 in an independent validation cohort, with a sensitivity of 84 ...

We conducted an in vivo genome‐wide CRISPR‐Cas9 knockout screen using MTMCT‐derived cells to identify genes essential for tumor growth. SOD1 emerged as a key therapeutic target, and its inhibition suppressed tumor proliferation by disrupting redox homeostasis, both in vitro and in PDX models. ABSTRACT Malignant transformation of mature cystic teratoma (

FB23‐2 potentiates cisplatin's antitumor efficacy in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma by disrupting XPF/ERCC1 complex assembly and nuclear translocation, thereby suppressing DNA damage repair machinery and amplifying platinum‐induced tumor cell death.

Upon chemotherapy, a subset of cancer cells enters a senescent state, referred to as TIS. When IAP antagonists are administered, TIS cells are selectively eliminated through TNFα‐independent apoptosis. TNFα secreted by TIS cancer cells may also act in a paracrine manner to enhance extrinsic apoptosis in neighboring non‐senescent cancer cells.
