Observation of the Differential Goos‐Hänchen Shifts in Wavelength Domain Using a Helical Fiber Grating

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 14, Issue 14, 10 April 2026.
Goos‐Hänchen shift (GHS) is a phenomenon in which an optical beam experiences a longitudinal displacement upon total internal reflection. In this work, we experimentally demonstrate an enhanced GHS in the wavelength domain using a helical fiber grating (HFG).

Photonic Crystal Fibers in the Terahertz Regime: Design Strategies, Performance Metrics, and Emerging Applications: A Systematic Review

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 4, April 2026.
An optimized octagonal‐core terahertz (THz) photonic crystal fiber sensor is presented for accurate identification of different milk samples based on refractive index variation. The structure enables highly confined THz guidance and strong light–analyte interaction, allowing reliable discrimination of camel, cow, buffalo, and sheep milk.

Orbital angular momentum states of light

2020
This book provides an in-depth introduction to modelling of long-range propagation of orbital angular momentum modes as well as more general structured light beams through atmospheric turbulence. It is a stand-alone reference material and is well suited to graduate students and researchers in optics and photonics.
