Dual‐Physical‐Field Nanocatalysis: Injectable Hydrogel Enables Piezo‐Photothermal Synergy for Breast Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Piezocatalytic therapy (PCT) harnesses mechanical energy to generate tumor‐lethal reactive oxygen species (ROS), but its efficacy is limited by rapid electron‐hole recombination and poor intratumoral retention. To overcome these limitations, we engineered heterostructured BiOCl@CuO nanosheets embedded in an injectable, conductive ...

Dual Covalent Targeting of STING Cysteines 292/309 Disrupts Functional Oligomerization and Enables Potent Antagonist Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a rational design strategy for STING antagonists by dual covalent targeting of Cys292/309 in its C‐terminal domain, directly preventing functional oligomerization. Through covalent warhead repurposing, we identified P005091 and revealed its unique dual‐cysteine mechanism.

Copper Depletion Nanoparticles Potentiate Cancer Immunotherapy by Avoiding Innate and Adaptive Immune Resistance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A mitochondria‐targeted copper depletion nanoplatform (CYN‐CDA@Alb) was developed to selectively disrupt tumor mitochondria copper, which then reprogrammed the tumor immune microenvironment by depressing PD‐L1 and CD47 expression simultaneously. By doing this, CYN‐CDA@Alb reversed radiotherapy‐induced immune tolerance, showing the potential usage of ...

Sinonasal Teratocarcinosarcoma Involving Orbital and Intracranial Extension: A Rare Case Report

open access: yesEar, Nose & Throat Journal
Sinonasal teratocarcinosarcoma (SNTCS) is one of the rarest and most highly invasive malignant neoplasms often found in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. SNTCS is often misdiagnosed because of its morphological heterogeneity.

Designing a training tool for imaging mental models [PDF]

open access: yes
The training process can be conceptualized as the student acquiring an evolutionary sequence of classification-problem solving mental models. For example a physician learns (1) classification systems for patient symptoms, diagnostic procedures, diseases,
