On (λ,A)-statistical convergence of order α [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In the paper [B. de Malafosse and V. Rakočević, Linear Algebra Appl. 420, no. 2-3, (2007), 377--387], authors defined the concept of (λ,A)-statistical convergence.

Discordance Between Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index Domain Weights and Their Association With Organ Damage Accrual

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Studies of damage accrual in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) show associations with disease activity measured by the SLE Disease Activity Index 2000 (SLEDAI‐2K), but these associations are imperfect. SLEDAI scores are powerfully influenced by weightings (1–8) assigned to each domain.

Convergence-order analysis of branch-and-bound algorithms for constrained problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The performance of branch-and-bound algorithms for deterministic global optimization is strongly dependent on the ability to construct tight and rapidly convergent schemes of lower bounds.

Ball convergence for an Aitken-Newton method

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2018
We present a local convergence analysis of an eighth-order Aitken-Newton method for approximating a locally unique solution of a nonlinear equation. Earlier studies have shown convergence of these methods under hypotheses up to the eighth derivative of ...

DOUBLE WEIGHTED LACUNARY ALMOST STATISTICAL CONVERGENCE OF ORDER α [PDF]

open access: yesRomanian Journal of Mathematics and Computer Science, 2016
In this paper, we define and study the concept of double weighted lacunary almost statistical convergence of order α. Further, some inclusion relations have been examined.

Filter Functions with Exponential Convergence Order [PDF]

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, 1994
AbstractOversampled functions can be evaluated using generalized sinc‐series and filter functions connected with these series. A standard filter function is given by exp ((ζ2 − 1)−1). We show that the Fourier transform of this filter posseses the convergence order 0(exp (−√x)), improving an estimation given in [10].

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

NOMINAL CONVERGENCE: THE CASE OF ROMANIA [PDF]

open access: yes
The main objectives of this paper are: determining the extent to which the indicators of nominal convergence reflect the reality of the Romanian economy, in order to find an optimal correlation between nominal and real convergence from the point of view ...

Deferred statistical order convergence in Riesz spaces [PDF]

open access: yes
In recent years, researchers have focused on exploring different forms of statistical convergence in Riesz spaces, such as statistical order convergence and statistical unbounded order convergence.

Adaptive Observer for Coupled Wave PDE and Infinite ODE With Sampled Data and Unknown Input: Application to Brain Hemodynamics Estimation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.
