Objective Studies of damage accrual in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) show associations with disease activity measured by the SLE Disease Activity Index 2000 (SLEDAI‐2K), but these associations are imperfect. Filter Functions with Exponential Convergence Order [PDF]
AbstractOversampled functions can be evaluated using generalized sinc‐series and filter functions connected with these series. A standard filter function is given by exp ((ζ2 − 1)−1). We show that the Fourier transform of this filter posseses the convergence order 0(exp (−√x)), improving an estimation given in [10].

This article proposes a convergent adaptive observer for a damped wave PDE and an infinite‐dimensional ODE coupled in cascade using sampled‐in‐space ODE state measurements. The proposed observer estimates the distributed states of the PDE and ODE along with unknown PDE parameters and spatial input.
